A. Yes. Please be aware that internet service can be spotty and that this is beyond our control.
Q. I heard that electricity and water is a problem in Costa Rica, is this true?
A. Generally the service is good. But that said it is not unusual for the power to go out for short periods of time. The water is fine to drink in Costa Rica, but if you are concerned, bottled water is available everywhere.
Q. Can I rent for only one night?
A. Yes depending on availability. Please note that the daily rate may increase.

Q. What type of security is there?
A. The road has a night guard every day beginning at 6p.m.
Q. Is Villa Manuel & The Loft private?
A. It is very private as you can’t even see any neighbors!

Q. Is there hot water?
A. Yes, we have a hot water tank.

A. Almost certainly. All 3 types come right by the Villa.
Q. Are there mosquitoes?
A. Generally no. But we recommend using an insect repellent when visiting the Park or beach. We provide Raw Botanicals Lemongrass Insect Deterrent at no charge.
Q. Are there lots of insects, lizards etc.?
A. Of course its Costa Rica! While Villa Manuel and The Loft are immaculately clean, some insects, geckos and other wildlife do get into the building. This is inevitable and part of the joy of Costa Rica. If you have a big aversion to bugs and geckos you probably should not come to Costa Rica.
